Chris Clarkson, a special education teacher at Alta High School for more than 20 years, died Oct. 27 surrounded by her family and loved ones, according to a memorial posted by the school.
The school called Clarkson "an attentive teacher and a fierce advocate." Her students knew she saw and loved them, the memorial said.
"She will be missed by her family, friends, and by all of our Alta community," the school wrote.
Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7. The school's memorial page includes a link to her obituary and service details.
