South Jordan police are asking for the public's help finding an 18-year-old with autism who was last seen near the Bonneville Shoreline Trail in Sandy.

Brayden Ballesteros was reported missing and at risk on Thursday, Sept. 10, ABC4 reported. He was last seen in the Sandy City area near the trail at approximately 11700 South.

The South Jordan Police Department described Ballesteros as wearing an orange coat and a green and red sweatshirt. He was carrying a black Nike backpack.

No additional physical description, including height, weight or hair color, has been released.

The department has not provided a specific time of day for when Ballesteros was last seen. South Jordan police had not released an update on the case as of Friday, Sept. 11.
